We usually consider giving "techie" gadgets at Christmas to be extravagent. In other parts of the world, that technology can save lives. United Methodist Communications' ICT4D Church Initiatives promotes using technology for social good in the developing regions of the world.
Your gift to support the communication ministries of the United Methodist Church, specifically the global communications program ICT4D, will deliver training and equipment, and educates disciples of Jesus Christ throughout the world. Supporting and funding this communication ministry demonstrates your vision and understanding that low-cost technologies can be available for poor and low income communities around the world.
While ICT4D is information and communication technologies for social, economic, and political development, with particular emphasis on helping the poor and marginalized people and communities, most important UMCOM (United Methodist Communications) is a faith-based leader in purposely sharing the good news of God’s love and Jesus Christ’s message of hope.
